Born Jan. 21, 1931 in Long Island, New York, Daughter of Agnes Bartholomew Ingram Stain and Ray Washington Stain.

Survived by her daughter, Karin Elizabeth Lindemann of Opelika, her son, Ray Charles Lindemann and his wife, Vera C. Lindemann, granddaughters: Anastasia Marie, Arianna Rhae and Anthea Sarah of Cleveland, Ohio, her sister, Elizabeth-Lee Gass and three nieces, grand-nieces and numerous cousins in Lee, Russell and Macon Counties.

Sarahelen graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1952 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. She taught two years in Sylacauga, Alabama, two years in Rockland Lake, New York and five years in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sarahelen was a member of the Eastern Star Oglethorpe Chapter 122 of Sandy Springs, Georgia. She also was a member of the Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in  Atlanta. Sarahelen also frequented the Marvyn United Methodist Church.

Sarahelen passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones July 13, 2021.

Visitation was held at the Marvyn United Methodist Church on Friday July 16, 2021, at 1 p.m. and the service followed at 2 p.m. The service was followed by a graveside service at Ingram Family Cemetery located at 15106 SR-51 in Opelika.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lee County Humane Society or Compassus Hospice of Opelika, Alabama would be appreciated.
