On April 9, the Opelika Police Department began investigating a Theft of Property, Third Degree, which occurred at Best Buy, located at 2147 Tiger Town Parkway. A loss prevention employee reported that a suspect can be seen on camera placing a car stereo in a coffee maker box and exit the store on April 6 at approximately 5:22 p.m. The suspect, a white male, can be seen wearing a dark colored hat, blue shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
