This year’s theme was Unity and Power of Prayer based off the Bible verses James 5:16 and First Thessalonians 5:17, which reads, “Pray without ceasing.”

Speakers included Lt. Ben Blackburn from the Opelika Police Department; firefighter Antavious Lipscomb from the Opelika Fire Department; Mary Hawkruiz, Lucile Gray and Marquenta Barnett from Auburn-Opelika Moms Demand Action group and Lee County NAACP Branch #5038 President Billy Allen and member Deborah Lowe.
