The Dannie Buchanan Memorial Fundraiser will be Dec. 3 from 1-6 p.m. at the Salem Volunteer Fire Department.
Buchanan, an Opelika native, died from a heart attack Oct. 14. He was 55 years old and without insurance. Proceeds from this event will be donated to a memorial fund in his honor to help the family cover final burial expenses.
Following is a lineup of artists slated to perform at the event: nationally known songwriter Rock Killough, Jackie Lee ‘Cowboy Jack’ Heard, Mortar Creek Redemption Company, Another Round and Vintage,
Admission is free to the family-friendly event, but donations are requested. Those unable to attend can make donations to the ‘Dannie Buchanan Memorial Fund’ at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
