PrideFest 2021, hosted by Pride on the Plains, will be held in Kiesel Park in Auburn on Saturday, June 5. The family-friendly event is open to the public and will take place from noon to 6 p.m. PrideFest is free to attend and will feature local artists as well as entertainers from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Performances will include The Mizfits, Ara Besque, Spikey, Mrs. Kasha Davis, Jiggly Caliente and more.

“The goal of Pride on The Plains is to create a family-friendly festival that can be enjoyed by all to celebrate the local LGBTQ+ community,” said Bob Cloud, treasurer of Pride on the Plains. “A festival is a great way to experience new things in a fun, relaxed environment. We will have many types of entertainers and vendors, so come out and visit with us.”

Food vendors will be available, including Tacos To Go, Bill & Robbie’s Excellent BBQ Adventure, The Coffee Mafia and Kona Ice. There will also be a children’s reading area sponsored by PFLAG-Auburn.
