With construction complete on the new Opelika Police Department and nearing completion on Municipal Court, the city is announcing several updates to doing business at Municipal Court.
As of Oct. 4, a new address has been given to the Municipal Court and Probation offices, 300 Martin Luther King Blvd. The existing address of 501 S. 10th Street will be retained for the Opelika Police Department.
To pay tickets, issue warrants or to see the probation officer, please enter the Municipal Court building at the Martin Luther King Boulevard entrance. For police reports or to file a report, please enter at the 10th Street Opelika Police Department entrance.
Municipal Court will still be held at the Southside Center for the Arts, located at 1103 Glenn Ave. until the courtroom is completed. The city will give ongoing updates as construction of the courtroom nears completion.
