Ruth Daugherty Corr

Ruth Daugherty Corr passed away on Saturday, March 28.  Ruth was a longtime resident of Auburn and a licensed cosmetologist for 57 years. She was a charter member of Lakeview Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was an active member of her adult Sunday School class. She served as a volunteer for MADD, Hospice and the Red Cross.
She is survived by one sister, Myrtle Kilbourn of Huntsville; a daughter, Connie Jones, of Gadsden; a son, Ken Corr, of Franklin, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Corr, and a son, Mike Corr.
Services were at the Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel in Opelika on Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m.  Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Deborah Jeannie Brush

Deborah Jeannie Brush, 49, passed away on Sunday, March 29, at her residence in Opelika.
Mrs. Brush was born Feb. 1, 1966, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Edward S. Little of Fort Myers, Fla., and Doreen Burgess Smith of Indianapolis, Ind.
She is survived by her parents; husband, Dr. Tom Brush of Nashville, Ind.; son, Richard Brush of Nashville, Ind.; daughter, Josephine Brush of Nashville, Ind.; and brother, Edward Little of San Diego, Calif.

Joseph Barnett Farr

Joseph Barnett Farr, born Dec. 24, 2014, passed away on March 27, 2015, at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. He was the son of David Farr and Kimberly Kornman Farr.
Joseph is survived by his parents; one brother, Wells Farr; grandparents, Wally and Linda Farr and Stephen and Vicci Kornman; uncles, Stephen (Kirby) Farr and Robert Farr; aunt, Lindsey (Jacob) Fannin; great-grandmother, Emma Farr; great-grandfather, Alfred Kornman Sr.; and cousin, Ally Fannin.

A private memorial service will be held in the family’s home at a later date.
