Virginia “Ginny” Lee Williams, Age 81, passed away on Oct. 31, 2021, at home with friends and family at her bedside in Opelika. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia, she grew up in Parkersburg, West Virginia and Largo, Florida.

Born to William H. And Virginia Watts, Ginny was the youngest of two children, both girls. She was married 48 years to Otho “Bob” Williams and resided in many beautiful homes in Virginia, Florida and Alabama. She was involved in many activities; she loved and cherished her friends at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and Garden Lovers Garden Club.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Otho “Bob” Williams, Son, Mark Williams of Opelika, both parents, Sister, Barbara W. Veasy. She was survived by her children Traci Williams and William “Bill” Williams of Opelika,  grandson Hunter Bell and granddaughter Lucy Bell of Opelika, Great Granddaughter Collier Bell of Opelika, nephews Chris Linkenhoker and Wayne Vielhauer of Montgomery, Alabama, niece Heidi Hewitt of Opelika, AL; as well as nieces and nephews in Virginia, West Virginia, Nevada, Colorado, California and Texas.

Visitation was held on  Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. with funeral service following at 3 p.m. at Jeffcoat Trant Funeral Home with graveside service immediately following at Garden Hills Cemetery.
