SYNOPSIS OF ZONING NOTICE
The City Council of the City of Opelika will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 204 S. 7th Street, Opelika, Lee County, Alabama, to consider the adoption of an ordinance to amend Section 7.3A of Ordinance No. 124-91 (entitled “Zoning Ordinance of the City of Opelika”) by amending the matrix table in Section 7.3 as follows:
That Section 7.3A, as amended, is further amended to change the use regulations for the GC District (Gateway Corridor District) as shown in the matrix table in the following respect:

The purpose of this amendment is to change the use regulation for the GC District with respect to automobile repair from not allowed (N) to conditional (C).
Except as specifically amended or changed herein, all other use regulations and requirements as shown in the matrix table shall remain in full force and effect.
Public Notice of this public hearing with insertion of the proposed ordinance was first published on November 7, 2014 in the Opelika Observer. This notice is given pursuant to Section 11-52-78 Code of Alabama (1975).
