The varsity Opelika High School football team dropped to 3-3 on the season with a 38-7 loss to Central of Phenix City Friday. The Bulldogs have an away game against Russell County (5-1) this week. On paper, the matchup looks to be a good one. Opelika is averaging 19.2 points scored per contest on the season, while allowing just 16.2; Russell County is averaging 23.7 points per game while allowing only 19.
