Fringe Consignment Boutique is preparing to celebrate 10 years of business. Along with the 10-year celebration, Fringe will be giving away a trip to New York to the winner of a contest. All expenses will be paid by Fringe, and a Broadway show, consignment tour and some sightseeing will be included.
Owner Stacie Money said this will be Fringe’s third time to give a trip to a lucky winner. The giveaway started in 2010 when Fringe was invited to New York to participate in a Martha Stewart show.
Participants fill out an entry form and are chosen by previous winners. A person will be randomly chosen from previous winners’ top three choices. The winner also gets to choose a friend to accompany them and some of the Fringe staff to New York.
“We wanted to save the giveaway for the same week as our anniversary,” Money said.
Entry forms will be accepted until Monday, and the winner will be announced March 13.
According to Money, 10 years of business have flown by, and there is a lot that goes into running a business and keeping quality employees and available hours.
“We’ve been in three different stores on the same block for 10 years,” Money said. “It has been wonderful to be a part of downtown Opelika. That has definitely been a big help in keeping us successful.”
