Faye Carolyn Corr Starr Beal passed away Jan. 27 at her home at Covenant Woods in Columbus, GA. Mrs. Beal was born in Opelika on Oct. 8, 1928 to Mr. and Mrs. William Raleigh Corr.
Mrs. Beal is preceded in death by her husbands Jim L. Starr and Dr. James A Beal, III; her parents; siblings: Cecil Corr, Raleigh Corr, Jessie Corr Friel, Camellia Corr Dickinson, Virginia Corr Starr, and Jeanne Corr. She is survived by her children: Dick (Beverly) Starr, Jimmy (Cathy) Starr, Nancy Starr (Charles) Abernathy, Leigh Starr (Bill) Chambers; grandchildren: Christopher (Donna) Starr, Melissa Starr, Tiffanie (Dereck) Starr-Boudreau, Carolyn Abernathy (Damian) Champion, Rachel Abernathy (Aj) Warburton, James Meadows, Elizabeth Meadows; and several great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Covenant Woods staff, Tywanna Rutledge, Barbara Riley, Lucy Green, and the healthcare staff ladies for the excellent care Mrs. Beal received while in their care.
