Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama is proud to offer for 2019 a statewide zero premium Medicare Advantage plan, Blue Advantage Complete, which is one of Blue Cross’ Medicare approved PPO Plans. Effective Jan. 1, 2019, Blue Advantage Complete will have no premium cost, and the plan will be available in all 67 Alabama counties.
To further benefit members, the Blue Advantage Complete Plan and the Blue Advantage Premier Plan will be adding a $250 dental allowance and also a Preferred Pharmacy Network to help members with cost sharing.
The Blue Advantage plans provide access to more than 10,000 doctors, 111 Alabama hospitals, and more than 1400 pharmacies as part of the Blue Advantage network.
Members also receive additional valuable health and wellness benefits, including:
• Free SilverSneakers® by Tivity Health fitness membership
• AirMed transportation service
• 24-Hour Nurse Hotline
• Routine eye exams
• Routine hearing exams and two hearing aids per year through TruHearing TM
• $100 eyewear allowance
