Your article “City of Opelika to host virtual Memorial Day” sounds like an awesome tribute to our cherished military heroes. The storied life of combat veteran Jody Fuller, who is a lifelong stutterer, underscores that people who stutter can achieve great things. There is a list of “Famous People Who Stutter” on the website of the Stuttering Foundation (www.stutteringhelp.org), a site famous for its free resources. Also, there is a section with biographical articles on famous stutterers, including Gen. Joshua Chamberlain, a hero in the Civil War in an article entitled “General Battled Stuttering.”
