Opelika celebrated Memorial Day with an event honoring those who have given their lives to keep America free. The theme was “Never Forget, Ever Honor.” OHS student Zach Pelham played TAPS during the laying of the wreath ceremony. Pictured are Pelham and WWII veteran Earl Sumner. Opelika resident Brig.
