Virginia Louise Albert

Virginia Louise Albert, 56, of Auburn passed away Dec. 1 at her home. She had recently returned to Auburn from California to reunite with her family.  Born in Fort Benning, Ga. March 5, 1958 as the first born to John B. and Mary Louise Bullock.
Her life was dedicated to the medical field, specializing in nursing and midwifery for over three decades. She assisted many in bringing life into this world and had no greater love than nursing.
Virginia was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Louise Bullock.
She is survived by her father:  John B. Bullock Sr., her three children: Brandee Kate Albert, Roosevelt (Teddy) Albert, Kyle Albert, a Brother John B. Bullock Jr. (Kim), a sister Vickie Lynn McLeroy (Lee) along with many nieces and nephews.
Virginia not only had a love for nursing but also of animals. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Lee County Humane Society.
A small private family memorial service will be held in her memory.

Shelia Anne Prichett

Sheila Anne Pritchett, 57, of Opelika passed away Nov. 28 at East Alabama Medical Center. Mrs. Pritchett was born Oct. 20, 1957, in Opelika and was a lifelong resident of Opelika. She was an active member of the Opelika Seventh Day Adventist Church. Sheila earned a Certificate in Drafting following completion of her studies at Southern Union State Community College in 1990.
She is survived by daughter Mary (Michael) Gillen of Auburn; son Charles Clinton (Jennifer Teague) Pritchett; grandson Alex Wilson of Opelika; and brothers Billy Luck of Opelika, and David Luck of Camp Hill.
A memorial service was held Dec. 6 at Opelika Seventh Day Adventist Church. Pastor Pavel Kulakov officiated.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Opelika Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2011 Columbus Parkway, Opelika, AL 36804.
