Opelika Observer

While all of downtown Opelika has seen growth, recently new developments have drawn fresh traffic to a portion of South 8th Street.
Baker Street Digital has relocated their well-established ad and branding agency into the upper floor of the historic Timmermann Building.
With a focus of preserving the historic nature of the building while also installing a modern twist, this office space brings new life to one of downtown’s largest historic buildings.
Also making their home on this street of downtown is the new Davis Mann & Co Salon and Spa. A recipient of an Opelika Main Street facade enhancement grant, this new salon takes the place of the former Top Hat Chimney Sweep office.
With high open ceilings and a modern decor, this salon mirrors those seen in Atlanta and Nashville. While much of the focus here has been on our new businesses, we must not forget the many great existing establishments that call this part of downtown home: The Collaboration Station, Opelika Observer, The Breezeway, Maria Jewelers, Four Corners Ministries, Wakefield Home/ Alabama Office Supply, Raymond James Financial, Railroad Investment Group, State Beauty Supply, Sassy Salon, Downtown Barbershop, Auburn Fencing, Nerd Torch Cafe and Edward James.
We look forward to seeing this part of downtown grow and prosper for years to come!
