Robyn Bridges, from Auburn-Opelika Tourism and Auburn Univeristy, and Opelikian Tiffany Gibson were recently named as honorees of the Focus Empowers second annual 40/40 Awards.

Focus Empowers, a non-partisan women’s organization based in Mobile, Alabama, has selected the 40 honorees last month. These awards honor and celebrate 40 Alabama women over the age of 40 who have made a mark professionally and impacted their communities in a positive way.

Honorees will be celebrated at the 40/40 Awards event on Sept. 28 at Crown Hall in Mobile. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the event will start with dinner, highlight honorees with the awards program and conclude with a cocktail reception to celebrate.

All are invited to attend the 40/40 Awards, and tickets are available at focuswc.com/tickets/. Additionally, honorees will be featured in a story on the Focus Empowers website and appear in the 40/40pho tography book to be released at next year’s awards.

“We were blown away by the quality and quantity of nominations for this year’s 40/40 class and are thrilled to highlight the selected honorees and their accomplishments at the 40/40 Awards event later this month,” said Devin Ford, founder of Focus Empowers. “This event will be a night of celebration, inspiration and hope for the future of our community and state.”
