From a R-5M District (High Density Residential District) to a C-2 District (Office/Retail District), the parcel of land hereinafter described:
Commence at the Southwest corner of Section 15, Township 19 North, Range 26 East in Lee County, Alabama, and run thence North 0 degrees 30 minutes East along the Section line running North and South for a distance of 2679.0 feet to a point; thence run South 89 degrees 30 minutes East for a distance of 852.6 feet to a point which is the point of beginning of the tract of land here to be described and conveyed. From said point of beginning run North 01 degrees 50 minutes East along the easterly margin of a 60 foot easement for a public roadway for a distance of 200 feet to a point; leaving the easterly margin of said easement for said roadway run thence South 89 degrees 30 minutes East for a distance of 417.3 feet to a point; run thence South 0 degree 30 minutes West for a distance of 200 feet to a point; thence run North 89 degrees 30 minutes West for a distance of422.0 feet to the aforesaid point of beginning, containing 1.93 acres more or less, all as further shown by map or plat of survey for W. P. Long, Sr., prepared by T. Richard Fuller, Reg. No.7384 dated October 30, 1968, a copy of which plat of survey is attached to that certain deed from W. P. Long, Sr., to Dwight Long which said deed is recorded in the records of the Judge of Probate of Lee County, Alabama, in Deed Book 803, at Page 206.
The above-described property contains 1.933 acres, more or less, and is located at 1401 Speedway Drive, Opelika, Alabama.

If the Planning Commission votes to send a positive recommendation to the City Council to rezone the 73.3 acres and the Council approves the rezoning, then the amendments to the Future Land Use map will be approved.
