July 2023 marks the second year of St. Dun’s Buns, a baking for donations group of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in downtown Auburn. During those two years, the group has baked for donations and distributed donations to 60 nonprofits in the Lee County area. At the presentation this month, donations were awarded to (from top to bottom) Flags for Vets, represented by Jamie Popwell and his furry friend, Sona Jean; Lee County Domestic Violence Shelter, represented by Zenene Davis; The Romeo Club and Tallapoosa Sheriff’s Girls Ranch, represented by Eric and Stephanie Strong. All donations are made to nonprofits in the area through the community outreach program of the Mary & Martha Guild at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church.
