Irish Bred Pub and Red Clay Brewing Company will be the go-to destinations for St. Patrick’s Day activities in downtown Opelika on March 14.
Starting at noon, Irish Bred Pub will kick off a full day of activities.
There will be a “Back-Lot Bazaar” for children, which will include balloon-making demonstrations from Dr. Majik, local art market, moonwalk and photo booth.
From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. upstairs, Celtic Traditions Irish Dance Performance Company will perform. Live music from Dallas Dorsey, Tony Brook and Mac Cone will last from 4 to 11 p.m., followed by a drag show to conclude the day’s activities.
Families or individuals looking to adopt a “fur”ever friend and support the work of Big Valley Animal Rescue if Chambers County can drop in to Red Clay Brewing Company from 1 to 5 p.m. A wide variety of pets will be available for adoptions. There will be photo sessions with the animals for $10 each along with shelter merchandise that can be purchased to help support the organization.
