The Auburn Area Community Theatre is thrilled to present its first youth show in the 2019-2020 season, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr., presented through Musical Theater International.
Bring your family and join 41 actors ages 5 to 12 for this high-flying musical adventure of Caractacus Potts and his children, Jeremy and Jemima, as they restore an old car that has magical abilities. They join forces with Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts to escape the evil Baron Bomburst’s schemes as he tries to take the car for himself.
Performances will take place at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center on 222 E. Drake Ave. in Auburn on Oct. 3 to 5, 7, 10 and 11 at 6:30 p.m., with matinees on Oct. 5 and 12 at 4 p.m. The show’s runtime is approximately an hour.

The rest of AACT’s season includes the shows The Little Prince, High School Musical Jr. and Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike.
