LEE COUNTY — Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers (Goodwill) is off ering free tax preparation services to eligible individuals and families during the 2026 tax season, helping working households keep more of what they earn.
Free tax preparation services are available to households with an annual income of $67,000 or less. IRS-certified volunteers provide services, including assistance with federal and state tax returns.
The services will be open from Feb. 2, 2026, to April 15, 2026. Appointments for back-tax assistance will start in May. Appointments are required and can be booked online at www.goodwillsr.org/fs-events or by calling (883) 755-2179.
Tax preparation services are available at four Goodwill Southern Rivers locations across the region. Individuals can find a complete list with addresses on the website.
Taxpayers should bring all required documentation to their appointment, including identification, income forms and prior-year tax information, if applicable. A complete checklist of required documents is available online.
By offering tax assistance services, Goodwill helps remove financial barriers and ensures working individuals and families can access accurate, trusted tax services at no cost.
