LEE COUNTY — The Lee County Commission approved the new environmental services work schedule Monday night.
The new schedule will go into effect in June and will encompass seven people per shift at five sites and will allow for all sites to be staffed outside of an employee needing a lunch break or providing assistance elsewhere.
“Thank you, John, for all your hard work on getting that,” said District 4 Commissioner Tony Langley. “Scheduling is a tough job to consume and get it out so I appreciate your work on that.”
These will be 12-hour rotations with the hours adjusted to meet the needs of the dump sites.
“The entire supervisory staff of the department worked hard on putting this together,” said John McDonald, environmental services director.
