Second annual East Alabama Book Festival Oct. 30

The Gnu’s Room, in association with the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities at Auburn University, is hosting the second annual East Alabama Book Festival Oct. 30 from 1-5 p.m. at Pebble Hill in Auburn. The festival will feature authors, publishers, local original music, and more.
Authors who wish to have booth space to promote their work, as well as to publishers and literary arts related non-profits and others are invtied to particpate. Booth space is limited to the first forty individuals or groups to register. The deadline for participation is Oct. 15 and costs $30. Non-profit booth space requires no donation, but a registration form is required. Registration forms and additional information can be found at www.thegnusroom.com.
Pebble Hill is located at 101 S Debardeleben Drive in Auburn. The Gnu’s Room is an independent used book store located in the heart of historic downtown Opelika, at 108 S. 8th Street (inside Heritage Gifts & Gourmet.) Gnu Arts’ mission is to support literacy, encourage reading and provide a venue for the arts. Your book pur-chases and tax deductible donations keep the mission alive.
