Special to the Opelika Observer
The East Alabama Community Concert Band directed by Dr. Rusty Logan will perform a pops concert Oct. 12 at 3 p.m., at the ampitheatre at Opelika’s Sportsplex.
This is the second time the band has performed at the ampitheatre. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the outdoor concert.
Pieces include “The West Point March,” “American Folk Rhapsody,” and “Frank Sinatra’s Favorites.”
Admission to the performance is free, and everyone is urged to attend.
