Students enjoy ‘Accelerated reading’ party

Written by Cub Reporter Raelee Fenn Last Friday, Dec. 9, Northside had an Accelerated Reader party for many of its students. Accelerated Reader (A.R.) is a program that asks comprehension questions when you read an A.R. book. A.R. books can be over one whole point. When students reach thirty points, they get to go to the party. It was so great! They had popcorn and drinks. They had cool bouncers. My favorite was the basketball game bouncer. Many helpers signed up to help our librarian, Mrs. Glenn. My aunt was one of the helpers. Five people from my class got to go. It was super.
