Sen. Doug Jones stopped by the Lee County Emergency Management Agency in downtown Opelika last week to discuss updates and progress on tornado recovery in Lee County. Among those present at the meeting with Jones were Lee County EMA Director Kathy Carson, Lee County District 4 Commissioner Robert Ham and city of Smith Station Communications, Planning and Zoning Director Lisa Deason, who is pictured on Jones’s left.
