LEE COUNTY — Three regional chambers of commerce have partnered to present a unified voice for the local business community through the release of the 2026 Lee County Public Policy Agenda.
The Auburn Chamber of Commerce, East Alabama Chamber of Commerce and Opelika Chamber of Commerce announced the joint effort, which represents thousands of businesses and working professionals across East Alabama. The chambers said the collaboration is aimed at strengthening the regional economy and advocating for policies that support business growth, job creation and long-term opportunity.
According to the chambers, the 2026 agenda reflects shared priorities identified by employers, employees and families throughout the region. The document is intended to serve as a guide for collective advocacy efforts in the coming year.
“The agenda focuses on maintaining East Alabama as a place where businesses can operate successfully while communities continue to grow and prosper,” chamber leaders said in an email. “The partnership also emphasizes cooperation among local organizations to address economic and workforce needs across Lee County and the surrounding area.”
The chambers thanked members and partners for their continued engagement and support as the organizations work together on behalf of the region’s business community.
