U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (AL-3), left, recently visited Opelika Mayor Gary Fuller to present him with a copy of the Congressional Record from April 28, 2025, an official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress. In his remarks entered into the Congressional Record, the congressman recognized Fuller for 25 years of dedicated service to the city of Opelika — 21 years as mayor and four years as a member of the City Council. “It is an honor to be recognized for something that has brought me such joy for so many years,” Fuller said. “Serving the citizens of Opelika has been the biggest privilege of my career.” The Congressional Record is published daily when Congress is in session and serves as the permanent record of congressional proceedings.
