Ann Whatley of Lee County was elected vice chairman of the Alabama Farmers Federaiton’s Women’s Leadership Committee for 2022. She also serves members at-large on the WLC. Elections were held during the Federation’s 100th annual meeting held in Montgomery Dec. 5 and 6. The Federation’s Women’s Leadership Committee provides an opportunity for women to actively participate in policymaking and policy execution activities. The committee is structured as an “arm of the board,” acting as liaison between Alfa’s board and membership and helping to implement Alfa policies and programs.
