Ellis Warren Howard, 58, of Camphill, Alabama, formally a lifelong resident of Opelika, passed away in his home Dec. 13, 2020. Warren was born March 16, 1962 to Robert Earl Howard and Shirley Faye Howard.

Warren lived and worked his whole life in Opelika. He was well known to so many who knew him to have a free spirit and the biggest fun, loving heart. He loved his family and friends dearly and touched everyone’s life that crossed his path.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Faye Howard, brother, Kenny Howard, grandparents, Arthur and Nina Howard, Ellis and Arbena Garrett. As well as many dearly loved Aunts, Uncles, and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife and faithful partner of 19 years, Joyce Howard, 6 children, Lisa Chappell (Eddie), Josh Howard (Taylor), Jessica Howard, Cassi Howard, Thomas Price, Ellisa Miller (Justin), 26 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, 1 brother, Guinn Howard (Cyndee), 1 sister, Cheri Grainger (Micah), 1 niece, Brandy Evans (Wade) and 1 nephew, Rambo Howard (Ayla).

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. (cst), on Dec. 18, 2020, at Garden Hills Cemetery in Opelika. After the service, family and friends gathered at Warren’s home in Camphill.
