Mrs. Deborah Sheridan Barker, 67, of Opelika passed away June 20, 2019. Visitation was held Monday, June 24, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home and Crematory. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Garden Hills Cemetery located in Opelika.
Mrs. Barker was a native of Lee County and lived her entire life in Opelika. She was retired from Auburn University.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 yeas, John Barker.
She is survived by her children: Kara Barker, Brandon Barker (Heather), Patrick Barker; mother: Nellie C. Sheridan; siblings: Tim Sheridan, Steve Sheridan, Karen Golden; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
