AUBURN — At the June 9 Auburn School Board meeting, the board approved regular business, and Superintendent Dr. Cristen Herring shared statistics on the recently graduated class from AHS.
“What you see as far as the student accomplishments is just noteworthy for Auburn City Schools,” she said. “More than $29 million was offered in scholarships, which was to more than 190 colleges and universities. And the statistic I’m most proud of is that 61% of our students had some sort of incentive or assistance to attend post-secondary education, so I just want to congratulate our graduates and their families.”
