OPELIKA — The Brewzle Whiskey Festival will return to downtown Opelika on Saturday, Sept. 20, bringing together whiskey enthusiasts from across the country for a celebration of small craft distilleries, live entertainment and local flavor.
The festival will take place on North Railroad Avenue in front of Red Clay Brewing Company and John Emerald Distillery. The outdoor space offers ample room for tasting vendor products, socializing and enjoying the festival atmosphere. Free parking is available in lots and on streets throughout downtown Opelika.
The expanded 2025 festival will feature more than 25 small distilleries from around the nation. Attendees can enjoy whiskey tastings, panel discussions with some of the most well-known and fastest-growing craft distillers, food trucks, live music, a cornhole tournament and unique offerings like whiskey-themed pastries from Stinson’s Bakery. Red Clay Brewing Company will also serve barrel-aged beer, and exclusive bottles of whiskey will be available for purchase.
“Our goal with the Brewzle Whiskey Festival is to highlight and support small craft distilleries while giving attendees an unforgettable experience,” said event organizer TJ Gamble. “With over 25 distilleries, panels, tastings and live events, it’s the largest craft whiskey festival in the country, and it’s right here in downtown Opelika.”
The festival is open to guests ages 21 and older. VIP ticket holders receive early access to tastings, premium seating for panels and a special festival gift.
