AUBURN-OPELIKA — The Tony & Libba Rane Culinary Science Center in downtown Auburn will host a chef-driven fundraiser, Children’s Table 2026, on Tuesday, March 3, from 6-8 p.m., benefiting Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
The evening will feature editors from Food & Wine and Southern Living, alongside acclaimed chefs from Alabama and across the Southeast. Participating chefs include Chris Hastings, of Hot & Hot Fish Club; Bill Briand, of Little Bird; David Bancroft, of Acre; Sophie Snyder, of Sophie Sweets; Joël Antunes, of 1856; and Leo Maurelli, of The Hotel at Auburn University.
With Bancroft, Antunes and Maurelli representing Auburn, the event highlights local culinary leadership alongside regional and national talent.
“Events like this showcase exactly what makes Auburn so special,” said Robyn Bridges, president and CEO of Auburn-Opelika Tourism. “We have a culinary community that competes on a national stage and has a heart for causes that matter. We’re proud for Auburn to host an evening where food brings people together to create meaningful impact.”
Guests will enjoy curated tastings and culinary experiences inside the state-of-the-art Rane Culinary Science Center, located at 205 S. College St. in Auburn.
Children’s Table supports nutritional programs that serve pediatric patients across the state. Many patients require specialized dietary plans, and funds raised from the event help provide resources, education and support for families navigating complex nutritional needs.
“We are thrilled to be hosting Children’s Table in Auburn and having the opportunity to expand our reach in this community,” said Grace Graffeo, development officer at Children’s of Alabama. “The generosity and enthusiasm of new and longtime supporters alike help ensure we can continue providing vital resources and services to those who need them most.”
Sponsorship opportunities and individual tickets are available, with proceeds directly supporting patient care programs. The event is open to the public.
