ADDIS KEVIN DAVIS
Addis Kevin Davis of LaFayette, passed away April 24, 2025, at the age of 64 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. He was born Dec. 6, 1960, in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. He was a graduate of Dadeville High School, class of 1979.
Kevin was an avid Auburn fan, and he was a small engine mechanic and had worked at Renfroe’s in LaFayette.
Kevin is survived by his wife Cynthia Correa; children Andrew Kevin Davis, Noelle Hope Davis, Hayden Kyle Davis, Nathaniel (Virginia) Henderson; siblings Wylone Brewer, Larry (Jennifer) Davis, Byron (Doris) Davis; grandchildren Colton, Haylyn and Freya Ard, Christopher and James Robertson and Kaela and Joshua Livingston.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Vincent Davis and Doris Milam Davis; his brother Creath Davis and great-grandchild, Yanessa Robertson.
Service was held Sunday, April 27, at Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial followed at church cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Goodwin officiating. .

SYLVIA JEAN STOKES SIZEMORE
Sylvia Jean Stokes Sizemore, 79, of Auburn, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 24, 2025.
She was born in Tallassee, Alabama, on Oct. 15, 1945, to Catherine and Henry Stokes.
Sylvia was married to the love of her life, Bobby, and shared 62 beautiful years together.
Her greatest joys in this life were being a wonderful mother to her only child, Cricket, and being a marvelous Mimi to her only grandchild Catherine, “Sannie.”
She served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so deeply and was a devout member of Union Christian Church in Little Texas.
Sylvia, “Sweet,” or “Mimi” was known for her infamous hugs and infectious smile. To know her was simply a gift.
She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Catherine Stokes; her sister Barbara Ray; and her brother Henry “Buck” Stokes Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband Bobby Sizemore; her daughter Cricket (Toby) Hanna; granddaughter Catherine (Will) Embert; brothers- and sister-in-law, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and an immeasurable amount of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, at Union Christian Church in Little Texas.
The church is located at 1111 Co. Rd. 69 in Tuskegee.
Visitation will be at 11 to 1 p.m. with the service from 1 to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Union Christian Church.

LEAH MANGULE MCCAIN
Leah Mangule McCain of Valley, Alabama passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2025, at the age of 31. She was born June 16, 1993, in Limbazi, Latvia. She is the daughter of Timothy and Cherie McCain. She was a graduate of Valley High School.
Leah loved the beach, swimming pools, balloons, riding horses, attending church activities, playing and listening to music and being with friends and family. On Tuesday nights, she loved to ring the bell at Roger’s BBQ.
Leah was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Valley.
She is survived by her parents; brother Ruslan (Jessica LeBlanc) McCain; aunts and uncles Donnie McCain, Tinker McCain, Glenn Osborn, Alison Osborn; and cousins Brent (Katelyn) Osborn, Caleb (Kylie) Osborn, Tatum and Stetson Osborn, Allison Aikens and Alan Aikens.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald and Jane McCain and Fred and LaVonia Osborn; and uncle Neal McCain.
A service was held Tuesday April 29, at 2 p.m. EST at Fairview Baptist Church in Valley. Burial followed at Johnson Memorial Gardens with the Revs. Carl Benedict and Blain Turner officiating..
