Members representing Domestic Violence Intervention, Inc., were recent guests of the Opelika Lions Club where they presented an overview of services their organization provides for residents of Randolph, Chambers, Tallapoosa, Lee, Macon and Russell Counties. One of such services is a 24 hour crisis hotline for anonymous, confidential help 24-7 at 1-800-650-6522 or 334-149-1515. Kenny Young, center, director of His Place in Opelika, was a recent guest of the Opelika Lions Club, where he gave an update on activities and plans for the organization. His Place, a faith-based organization founded in 1996 by Rick Hagans, currently has 46 men registered in the organization which serves as a place of restoration to men aged 19 plus who suffer from life controlling issues.
