Dallas Dorsey of Opelika is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of, Miss Joy Katelyn Dorsey, to Mr. Zachary Sean Hatchett of Notasulga, Alabama.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Dorsey Sr of Opelika, and the late Joy Allen and Sheldon Bennett of Selma. She is a graduate of Opelika High School, and The Southern Union Cosmetology Program. She is a stylist at Envy Salon on Railroad Avenue in downtown Opelika.
The prospective groom is the son of the late Tammy Hatchett, and grandson of the late Arthur and Mary Hatchett of Notasulga. Zach is a graduate of Reeltown High School, and is a professional landscaper.
The wedding is planned for Feb. 6, 2027.
