LAFAYETTE — LaFayette Nutrition offers a variety of drinks for those looking to increase their health or enjoy a caffeinated beverage to help them stay energized throughout their day.
“It’s good to have the option to get something nutritional that you can run in and get quickly, and that you can use as a breakfast, lunch or dinner option,” said LaFayette Nutrition Owner Alexis Smith. “These drinks are really good for somebody to have as an option to lose weight or to just get healthy.”
Smith said that LaFayette Nutrition offers Herbalife drinks that customers can use to support a variety of health goals through supplements like protein, vitamins, collagen and more.
“Our line is called Herbalife, and we have a lot of loaded teas that have caffeine and energy in them, but it’s a healthy caffeine and energy,” she said. “We don’t have a lot of sugar at all in our drinks, in any of our drinks or shakes. We have drinks that are called beauty teas, and they have biotin and collagen in them which is good for hair, skin and nails. We also have our protein drinks, hydration drinks and meal replacement shakes.”
Customers can support a variety of health goals through the different products offered by LaFayette Nutrition, and Smith said those benefits come from a variety of different ingredients combined to support customers’ health and wellness goals.
“Our meal replacement shakes have 17 to 24 grams of protein, [and] fiber, which is good for your gut health,” she said. “They [also] have over 21 vitamins and minerals, which is ideal for weight management or balanced nutrition. Our herbal teas have antioxidants in them, and they contain plenty of vitamins and energy. They have the green and black teas in them, which are natural caffeine, and they also have relaxing herbal options as well. We also have hydration drinks that have a lot of electrolytes and carbohydrates in them.”
Smith said that customers enjoy when LaFayette Nutrition offers seasonal drinks, and there was a positive response to the recent Fourth of July menu.
“I’ve been really surprised since I took over as owner,” she said. “Everybody’s really loved the new drinks that we come out with, like our Fourth of July menu. They love having different drinks because we have all kinds of flavors and options.”
Some of the current LaFayette Nutrition seasonal drinks include summer flavors like peach, pineapple and pina colada.
“Our Peach on the Beach is one of the specialty drink; it’s got the protein, biotin, collagen and the caffeine as well, and the flavors in that are peach and pineapple,” Smith said. “We also have another specialty drink that’s really popular and a lot of people love, called Hot Mom Summer, and it’s got the pineapple, pina colada and strawberry in it.”
Smith said that she is thankful for the community support that she has received at LaFayette Nutrition. For more information, visit LaFayette Nutrition on Facebook.
“It means the world to me, I feel like all the hard work pays off,” she said. “Being there and having this as an option for everybody, it just makes me really happy. Knowing that people choose to support us and that they could go elsewhere, just means the world to me.”
