CHRISTOPHER RAY PERRY

Christopher Ray Perry, 29 of Lafayette, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025.
A public visitation was held on Friday, May 30, at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette followed by the funeral service on Saturday, May 31, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Lafayette. The Revs. Michael T. Stiggers, and Douglas Jones Sr., Eulogist led the service.
Interment followed the funeral service at Essie J. Handy Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.
Christopher leaves his precious memories to four beautiful children and their loving mother who will carry forward the legacy of his life: Ashley Watts, Christian Perry, Amori Perry, Aubree Perry and A’Lani Perry; his parents Shinettia (Freddie) Goss and Rayford (NaRonica) Perry; grandfather Silas (Tracy) Zachery Sr.; five brothers Brian (Skyler) Copeland, Robert Keve, Justin (Kendreatta) Holloway, Jaquan Powell and Jeremy Powell; three sisters Christal Perry, Cheya Keve and Alexis(Denzel)Harris; 11 uncles Silas (LaRhonda) Zachery Jr., Kelvin (Koretta) Zachery, Travis Jennings, William (Jimmy Ruth) Zachery, Charles (Gaynelle) Zachery, Greg (Ocie) Zachery, George (Marjorie) Hughley, Charles (Phyllis) Shealey, Marvin (Mattie Sue) Perry, Johnny Perry and his favorite uncle Donald (Carrie) Perry; seven aunts Caron Shealey, Dynnette (William) Copeland, Laverne (Tracy) Truitt, Marion (Cimmie) Vines, Ola (Jack) Holloway, Teresa Vines and Sharon (Wayne) Williams; special cousins Arielle Bledsoe, Keon Silmon, Cordeski Floyd, Kinjilro Brown, Kendrell Anderson and a host of family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
His absence will be felt deeply in the hearts of all who knew him. He may be gone from our sight, but he will forever remain in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Christopher Ray Perry. Your laughter and love will live on in the cherished memories of all whose lives you touched.
