The Alabama High School Association held its State Championship Finals in Cullman, Alabama, last weekend. LaFayette High School traveled to compete. LaFayette High School finished 10 team overall points. Jayden Thomason finished second in high jump; The 4×100 boys relay team finished third. Team members are Zaquarious Jackson, JaQualius Leverette, Jeremiah Whitlow and JR Robinson. JaQualius Leverette finished third in 300 hurdles and Jamarrious Broughton finished third in shot put.
