William G “Billy ’Holden, affectionately known as “Red “of Opelika, died May 22, 2021 at Bethany House after a long battle with ALS.
Born on July 20,1963 in Mt Kisco, New York, he lived most of his life in Opelika and surrounding areas.
He is survived by his mother Glenda Holden, sister Judy (Neil) Odom, brothers Jim (Kim) Holden, and Mark Holden, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A memorial service was held on May 28, 2021 at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Opelika at 2 p.m. and was officiated by Father Bruce Kraus C.M. The burial service was private.
