CONTRIBUTED TO THE OBSERVER
Auburn native, graduate of Auburn High School and recently retired Alabama television news anchor Vanessa Echols has released her first book, “We’re in Heaven, and I Have Some Questions.”
People of faith always have questions about heaven. A book, journal and daily devotional all in one, “We’re in Heaven, and I Have Some Questions” takes a humorous look at the conversations and questions the author imagines having with 40 Biblical characters. At the end of each conversation is a final question, scriptural references and a page for readers to write their own questions or thoughts.
Echols spent 40 years as a television anchor at stations in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. She is a three-time winner of the Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards and an award-winning podcast host. Echols is also a breast cancer survivor and served as the founder of an organization that provided financial assistance to breast cancer patients in Central Florida, before she retired to Alabama with her aging parents.
“We’re in Heaven, and I Have Some Questions” is published by Archway Publishing. For more information, Echols can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or at www.vanessaecholswriter.com.
