The Opelika Parks & Recreation Track & Field Team had 12 members and four unattached compete in the Alabama Sports Festival, which was held at Samford University in Birmingham June 21.

The 13-14-year-old boys took first place in the 4X100 M relay.  Team members were Antonio Willis (100M-14th), Dujuan Phillips (100M-17th), Jaylen Stinson (100M-13th & 400M-8th) and Cencale Thomas.

The 13-14-year-old girls placed third in the 4X100 M relay. Team members were: Imani Debrow (400M-21st), Zy’keria Jackson (200M-17th ), Anasha Mitchell (100M-11th) and Ghania Warren (high jump-1st, 100M Hurdles-2nd).

Jarell Stinson, 9-10 boys, placed 6th in the 100M and 6th in 400M.

Jazmine Parker, 11-12 girls, placed 10th in the 200M.

Ansley Floyd, 11-12 girls, placed 6th in the 400M.

Tre’Von Moore, 11-12 boys, placed 13th in the 100M.

Alexis Browning, 15-16 girls, placed 8th in the 400M (unattached).

Alexxis Milner, 17-18 girls, placed 1st in the 100M (PR), 3rd in 400M and 3rd in the 100M hurdles (unattached).

A’Kasia Frazier, 17-18 girls, placed 2nd in the 100M hurdles (unattached).

Keshon Willis, 17-18 boys, placed 20th in the 200M and 20th in 400M (unattached).

The Opelika Parks and Recreation Hershey Team members are also eligible for selection to a Regional Team (North American Finals), which will be held in Hershey, Penn., Aug. 2.
