The Knee High Foundation awarded scholarships in the amount of $250 and $500 to five local graduating seniors at Courthouse Square last week. The Knee High Foundation founder, Anthony Bryant, said “It means a lot to see what happens afterwards. Especially when we give out the scholarships and then those same students are at those colleges with 4.0’s.” Alyssa Foreman, chief information officer of The Knee High Foundation, also spoke on what the scholarships mean to her. “You know, that’s the pillar of our foundation,” she said. “It’s easier to build strong men than repair broken children. So, to help support them when they are in their youth and for them to become valuable adults, that’s our foundation coming full cycle. So it means a lot.”
