Standard Deluxe Inc., a design and silkscreen print shop and outdoor event center, is hosting The Heart of Waverly BBQ on July 3. The event will feature live music and local barbeque. Gates and will-call open at 11 a.m. and the live music will start at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are general admission and cost $50. Children ages 14 and under will be admitted for free. Tickets are available for purchase at www.standarddeluxe.com.

“Come spend the day in beautiful, rural, east central Alabama at the south’s coolest venue, the grounds of Standard Deluxe, celebrating their 30th anniversary this year,” said owner of the Standard Deluxe, Scott Peek.

Live Music on the Outdoor stage will feature:

– Cary Hudson at 12:30 p.m.

– Michelle Malone at 1:45 p.m.

– BB Palmer at 3 p.m.

– Royal Horses at 4:15 p.m.

– North Mississippi Allstars at 6 p.m.

Local barbeque will be available from Robert Oswalt; located in the Feed Shak, and Butcher Paper BBQ food trailer, located in the Yard.

The Standard Deluxe website offers important information for The Heart of Waverly BBQ participants:

-When purchasing tickets, choose “will call” in the shipping information.

-No physical tickets will be mailed.

-Your name(s) will be at Will Call the day of the show; you will receive a wristband.

-Tickets are non-refundable.

-The event is rain or shine.

-No outside alcohol is allowed.

-Bring your chairs and blankets; sit physically distanced from your neighbor.

-Small personal coolers are allowed; coolers will be checked at the gate; sealed water and soft drinks are allowed.

-No smoking inside the fenced yard.

-No dogs.

-No glass.
