Insurance agencies mostly serve as sources of security and peace of mind. However, instead of serving policies and premiums, The Brown Insurance Agency – an Allstate company – located on 3051 Fredrick Road in Opelika, is hoping to serve enjoyment and entertainment through their Community Appreciation Day.

On July 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the agency is offering a bonus that even non-policyholders can enjoy. The agency invites anyone from within the Auburn-Opelika communities to visit its office to enjoy an afternoon endowed with services atypical from what insurance companies provide.

Simply by stepping inside the building, customers can enter a free raffle that gives them the potential of winning a 40-inch television, custom Moscow Mule cups and more. A free lunch, in addition to the raffles, most likely hotdogs and hamburgers, will be provided.

Furthermore, after enjoying lunch, customers can enjoy a free snowcone for dessert, play a friendly game of cornhole, or unleash their inner artist and decorate the ground with sidewalk chalk. All while family friendly music is playing to ensure the fun continues.

SERVPRO of Lee County, a company that specializes in commercial and residential restoration services will also have a booth set up on the day of the event.

“Community Appreciation Day is our way of saying thank you to the Auburn-Opelika community,” said Shelby Martin, marketing specialist and trusted advisor of The Brown Insurance Agency.
