I want to tell you how much I have enjoyed your profiles of people who have made significant contributions to our local area.
The articles have been delightful. It was my personal pleasure to work with Donna Williamson, who wrote the article on my mentor and the former East Alabama Mental Health Center Executive Director, Dr. Jim Walter. I know all would agree – she captured him perfectly! And of course she was an absolutely wonderful professional to work with.
But I also really enjoyed other articles, including the one on my friend Husky Kirkwood. I also appreciate the very valuable coverage on Mental Illness Awareness Week.
