Memorial services for Terri Lynn McCall of Opelika were held Feb. 23, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Church of the Highland in Auburn, with Pastor Wren Aaron officiating. 

Ms. Terri Lynn McCall who died Feb. 19, 2021 in Opelika was born April 16, 1964 in Florala, Alabama. Terri was a police officer for the Opelika police department for more than 35 years. She retired as a sergeant Dec. 31, 2020. While with the police department she was recognized as police officer of the year. She spent her entire career teaching and helping in any way she could. 

Terri was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Carolyn Worley.

She is survived by her daughters, Courtney (James) Daniel and Heather Worley, her grandchildren: MacKayla and Preston Daniel. Her siblings, Charles (Lynn) Worley, John (Gail) Worley, Kim (Sam) May, Mark (Cindy) Worley, Steve (Ashley) Worley, Shannon (Michael) Gallagher, and a number of nieces and nephews. 

After the service friends and colleagues were encouraged to join the family for a reception at Fountain Gate Church in Auburn.

Flowers that were received at Church of the Highlands and donations made in Terri’s name to the Opelika Police Department will be used for community outreach on her behalf.
